Recently, when visiting the Taobei Economic Development Zone in Jilin Province, the construction site of the annual 1GWh all-vanadium redox flow battery project by Shanghai Electric Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. ("Electric Energy Storage") presents a bustling scene. Construction vehicles shuttle back and forth, and the roar of machinery is incessant; workers are scattered at various operation points, engaged in wall masonry, concrete pouring, steel structure welding, etc., with clear division of labor and intense yet orderly work. In the distance, the steel structure framework of the workshop has risen straight up, outlining a vivid picture of the vigorous development of the new energy industry in Taobei District against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds. According to the person in charge of the project construction site, the first phase of the project is progressing smoothly and is expected to enter the trial production stage in October this year. This project not only injects new impetus into the local economy but also provides more employment opportunities and income-increasing channels for local residents through the dual-drive of "industry + employment". As a "key link" in the new energy industry chain of Taobei District, after the project is fully completed, it will form a complete industrial chain from stack assembly to system integration. "The company adopts an order-based sales model and currently has a supply plan of 100MW/600MWh in Baicheng. In the future, we will focus our sales on the Northeast China and Inner Mongolia regions, actively explore the product market, and provide strong energy storage support for the development of the new energy industry in Taobei," the person in charge at the site said. In terms of production technology, the project boasts numerous highlights. It is understood that the 1.25MW/5MWh fully prefabricated cabin-type energy storage module independently developed and designed by Electric Energy Storage is a major core highlight of this project. Positioned for supporting large-scale wind and solar power bases in the new power system, this energy storage module features high safety, high power, long-duration energy storage, and other prominent characteristics. It has high DC-side efficiency and overall achieves a high degree of integration, system modularization, and intelligent operation and maintenance, providing a reliable solution for the stable storage and efficient utilization of new energy. The company's core leading products are aqueous flow battery energy storage systems, with a series of core intellectual property rights. Its products cover kilowatt-megawatt level flow battery energy storage products, demonstrating strong technical strength. The accelerated construction of Electric Energy Storage's annual 1GWh all-vanadium redox flow battery production project is an important measure to actively promote industrial upgrading and develop green energy.
